Si usted está interesado en la fauna de Fuerteventura, no se pierda la oportunidad de venir a visitar el Faro de Jandia, situado en la parte meridional de la isla. La mayor parte de la península de Jandia es parte de la reserva natural Parque Natural de Jandía, donde la sorprendente flora y fauna están siendo preservadas.
En el punto sudoeste de la isla, los turistas pueden visitar el Faro de Jandía, donde se encuentra el centro de información del parque. Además, ahí usted puede encontrar una exposición sobre el Parque Natural de Jandía que se divide en cinco salas de color. La sala naranja, explica las características geológicas de la reserva natural, mientras que el cuarto verde explica la flora y vegetación. En la habitación gris hay un audiovisual mostrando el paisaje de la zona y la información acerca de la Biodiversidad de la isla. La habitación azul contiene información sobre la fauna de la isla y, por último, la sala marrón expone información sobre los señales de navegación sobre el entorno de el faro.
